Kathy Lonsinger is the Event Speaker and a writer for A Gentle Answer Ministries

About Speaker Kathy Lonsinger:
As a professional Marketing and Advertising Account Executive, Kathy Lonsinger traded in her high heels, briefcase and client lunches for babies, bibs, and bad hair days! Now back in the workface in the Aerospace Industry, Kathy shares the joy, humor and sometimes heartache that comes with being a wife, mother, Nana to 3, a writer and follower of Christ. She will share with you how God takes broken pieces of our lives and glues them together with His Grace and His Word. The result...a mosaic of hope, joy, peace even in the midst of trials. Kathy is a wife and mother of 4 children and many of her teachable moments come from everyday life events.
~"Kathy Lonsinger is a wonderful Christian lady who blends a natural sense of humor with her compelling teaching. As a wife and mother of four, she is faced with the ordinary challenges of life but is able to display an extraordinary faith to her church family and friends. Kathy is someone who knows the blessings of God and is willing to share them with others."
~Dr. Michael Seabaugh, Pastor Central Baptist Church Magnolia, AR.
"Kathy was very uplifting and encouraging. Her speaking is full of the love of Jesus Christ and her energy is infectious. We had a great time listening to Kathy as she spoke to us about our personal worth with Jesus Christ and how Christ values us. She often called us and checked on our prayer needs for the conference and encouraged us leaders even before the conference began." ~Leila Phillips, Salvation Army Bartlesville, Ok.

Kathy's Topics/Teaching- "What's In Your PURSE?" (Our PURSE-ONAL Worth In CHRIST)
- This presentation starts off with a fun time of "purse-onal worth" evaluation and then looks at the difference between what the world values and what the Bible says GOD values. Your personal value can be measured by the cross of Christ. Great for teen (young ladies) events, Mother Daughter events, Women's events or conferences and both believers and invited non-believers will hear the Gospel message PURSE-ONALY! The setting for luncheons or events with breakout sessions works well with this topic. Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
- "OUT POPPED THIS COW" (Our excuses to the Lord)
- A humorous but real look at why we make excuses for our disobedience to God and some suggestions on how to obey him instead. This is a fun message, with references to Aaron and the Golden Calf in Exodus 32 ending with a challenge for change.
- "They Flew Through My Living Room On 9/11" How to depend on the Lord
- A look a handling unexpected changes in life and learning to lean on the Lord when you can't see an answer to life's difficulties. You don't have to be in a crisis to hear this message of trust and surrender to be changed by the content. It is a good encouraging topic for those in positions of influence and service as well. Facing unexpected enemies (challenges) with a look at 2 Chronicles 20.
- " Forgiveness: The KEY That Opens Prison Cells"
- Discover freedom that only comes when forgiveness is your practice. Receiving and extending forgiveness not only releases those you forgive from a spiritual prison, but sets you free as well. Kathy will take you through a forgiveness journey that begins with accepting Christ's forgiveness...and then we learn to extend that forgiveness to others as wives, mothers, neighbors, employees, employers and in service. Ephesians 3:12 In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.
- "A Crani-WHAT-omy?"
- A testimony of God's grace and provision during physical illness. Kathy's Son Joshua was born with a life threatening condition in 1992. This is a story of how God's Glory was revealed day by day during this difficult time. God's Grace is sufficient! 2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
- "Cinderella's Step Mom Wasn't All That Bad: If The Shoe Fits..."
- This humorous but honest look at managing your household as a Wife, Mother, and Daughter of the King (without destroying the spirits of the other servants in your castle) will encourage women to serve God and others with the wisdom of the Proverbs. Based on Proverbs 14:1 The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down.
- Proverbs 15:1
A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
